12 Night Cruise sailing from Kiel to Hamburg aboard Europa.

Baltic Sea - The Gold of the Tsars:
It is one of those places which give you an idea of the splendour that prevailed in the lives of the Russian tsars - Peterhof and its brilliant Grand Cascade. The reconstruction of the legendary Amber Room or the masterpieces at the Hermitage in St. Petersburg are additional treasures of bygone times. The once so powerful Hanseatic League left its marks on the carefully restored historic districts along the shores of the Baltic Sea. On board, world-famous music from Sweden ensures great entertainment - curtain up for the ABBA Revival Show!

Highlights of this cruise:

Stockholm/Sweden
After the passage through the skerries landscape, the EUROPA reaches the "floating city". Stockholm was built on 14 islands which you can explore until the following day.

Helsinki/Finland
Towering above everything else, you can already see the white cathedral from afar; together with the other buildings around Senate Square, it makes up a magnificent ensemble of classical architecture. The distinct Finlandia Hall, the rock-hewn church and the abstract Sibelius Monument are further highlights of the charming metropolis.

St. Petersburg/Russia
Via the Neva River, the EUROPA reaches the city of Tsar Peter the Great early in the morning. You now have two full days to discover its magnificent heritage.

Visby/Gotland
Behind one of the most well-preserved mediaeval city walls lies "Regina Maris", the queen of the Baltic Sea. In the course of a walk through Visby's historic district, the gabled houses and warehouses as well as the cathedral and the "Galgbacken", the mediaeval gallows hill, evoke images of its days as a thriving Hanseatic city.

Gdynia (Gdansk)/Poland
Gdansk turns out to be a veritable gem among the old Hanseatic cities during a walk through its affectionately tended historic district with elaborately adorned town houses and the impressive Malbork Castle.
