The Ribbon Reef chain is located between Cooktown and the Cod Hole, in far north Queensland. It is a 99 km turquoise chain of ribbon reefs which is the most prized dive region in the northern section of the Great Barrier Reef. You will see spectacular concentrations of pristine coral and a myriad of brightly colorful tropical fish. The currents that channel between the ribbon reefs attract bigger fish population than elsewhere.

Ribbon Reef No.5 is one of the Marine Park's most spectacular and remote destinations lying on the edge on the continental shelf. It's a true `barrier' reef and home to a profusion of unbelievable sea creatures.
