SS Normandie Restaurant

Summit's Normandie Restaurant provides guests with an elegant, alternative dining experience created by Celebrity's longtime culinary consultant, Master Chef Michel Roux. Chef Roux has recreated an entrée first served in the dining room onboard the restaurant's namesake, in addition to exclusive selections inspired by the Normandy region of France.

The famed Normandie was the industry's first 1,000-foot liner, the first French Line vessel to win the coveted Blue Riband, the North Atlantic's prize for speed, and the first to take the chic "arts decoratifs" - now known as art deco - design style to sea.

The Conservatory

The Magnolia Garden is a Celebrity exclusive. Here, in this floating botanical conservatory atop Summit, guests can truly relax while watching a floral artist do magic, collect a bouquet for a loved one, or simply sit and smell the flowers while enjoying a refreshing drink.

The Magnolia Garden has its roots in the famed Parisian silk flower boutiques of Emilio Robba. To assure authenticity, Robba himself was asked to design this Summit conservatory. Two-story-high windows make the sea and sky the glorious backdrop to the design of this naturally colorful space.

Words & Notes

These two rooms were created especially as "escapes" where you can learn about your upcoming destination, or simply daydream to your favorite music. WORDS: Select a book on the history of your destination from this two-story library. On the first floor you will find volumes in English; on the second, books in other languages. Or you can choose the card room -- a quiet nook and the perfect place to meet friends for board games or bridge.
