Highlights of this cruise:

New York
New York, New York.considered the greatest city in the world and what better way to see or experience it but on an MSC cruise. As the most populous city in the United States, New York City exerts a global influence in media, politics, education, entertainment, arts and fashion.

The city is also a major center for foreign affairs, hosting the headquarters of the United Nations. New York hardly needs an introduction as many of the city's neighborhoods and landmarks are known around the world.
From the Statue of Liberty to the New York Stock Exchange, the Empire State Building or Central Park, it can take a lifetime to get to know this magical metropolis. However, a day or so will still suffice to get a flavour of the 'city that never sleeps'.

Ponta Delgada
Blossoming flowers and exotic fruit plantations
The port city of Ponta Delgada is located on the island of São Miguel in the Azores islands. The Azores is a chain of nine Portuguese islands situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and is a renowned vacation destination. Some say the Azores is the tip of the lost continent of Atlantis, and these islands, with their warm climate, varieties of blossoming flowers and exotic fruit plantations certainly hold magical, mystical appeal.

Lisbon
Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and the westernmost capital city in Europe.

With its sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and over 20 centuries of history, there is no shortage of landmarks to visit in this beguiling holiday town. From gothic to post-modern, the city's rich cultural history envelopes you as you stroll the streets under one of the most comfortable year-round climates.

With its elegant squares and the distinctive character of intriguing districts such as Alfama and Baixa, Lisbon's atmosphere is more sunny and cheerful than its melancholy musical heritage of Fado folk songs would have you believe!

Discover the gigantic Christ King (Cristo Rei) statue overlooking Lisbon from the Tagus River, and the Vasco da Gama Bridge, one of the longest structures of its kind in Europe.

La Coruna
La Coruna (also called A Coruna) is both a region and a busy port town located in Galicia, northwest Spain.

As a bustling hub for business and exports, the area combines its traditions of agriculture and fishing with successful new industries, notably fashion and textiles.

Dover
The holiday town of Dover in England is not only famous for its white cliffs, but for being home to Dover Castle, Britain's oldest building.

The Strait of Dover represents the closest point between Great Britain and France, separated by just 21 miles. Dover is a great place from which to explore many counties in the UK, so you can really experience a taste of Britain and the richness of the British Isles.

Our excursion package offers a diverse array of vacation activities. MSC always strives to offer cruise passengers the best deals on all local attractions, so it is worth joining us for a day onshore.

Take in the sights from the comfort of your coach and soak up the history with a fascinating guided tour. Otherwise, head out to Dover's cliff tops for a bracing burst of English seaside air; leave the ship and pull on your hiking boots as you join us on a ramble along the cliff tops, finishing up the South Foreland Lighthouse. Or sample the traditional village charms of Rye, in Sussex, a true gem of an English market town. Travelling with children? They'll love a day at Leeds Castle, and the Castle gardens will delight the whole family.

Kiel
Kiel is a city in northern Germany located on the Baltic Sea. The city was the country's main naval base until after the Second World War.

Kiel is famous for sailing events; each year the city hosts 'Kieler Woche', a series of sailing regattas. Thanks to its strategic location, our cruise guests can visit a whole host of great attractions, which are all within easy reach of Kiel.
