Highlights of this cruise:

Southampton
Southampton is a city and major port situated on the south coast of England. It is the closest city to the New Forest, situated approximately halfway between Portsmouth and Bournemouth. The city of Southampton is a modern and bustling place to visit, filled with huge shopping malls, modern buildings and an interesting past.

Southampton's busiest tourist attractions include the Civic Centre - home to the Guildhall, library and many significant events throughout the year; Ocean Village - a trendy marina development full of waterfront attractions, restaurants, bars, cinemas and shops; Southampton Common - an enormous area of green in the very heart of the city, with plenty for all the family such as the Hawthorns Urban Wildlife; and the Rose Bowl - a prominent local sporting venue.

Bridgetown
Barbados is an ideal Caribbean destination, whether you want to bake in the sun or spend your time discovering island life and culture.

The beaches along the West and South coasts are lovely. Because they're open to the public, though, they lack the privacy some visitors may seek. Elsewhere on the island, linked by almost 900 miles of good roads, are small villages, historic plantation houses, stalactite-studded caves, a wildlife preserve, and the Andromeda Gardens, one of the most attractive small tropical gardens in the world. Culturally, Barbados has retained a very British atmosphere: Afternoon tea is a ritual, cricket is the national passion, and a few luxury hotels request a jacket and tie at dinner.

But Barbados is true blue Caribbean as well, with classic sand beaches, and wild monkeys in the jungle.

St Johns
Shop on Redcliffe and Heritage Quays in Antigua's capital, sunbathe on one of 365 beaches, or visit historic Nelson's Dockyard, a splendid renovation which houses quaint shops, restaurants and a museum.

Tortola
The British Virgin Islands, about 60 (mostly uninhabited) islands and cays, are one of the Caribbean's most popular destinations. Tortola, a major yachting center, is the largest island of the group. Tortola and Virgin Gorda (1/2 the size of Tortola) are the two major islands that comprise this collection of some 60 islands. Tortola is a rocky island dominated by a mountain range. Cacti, mango trees, frangipani and wild tamarind dominate the hillsides. Mangroves and palm trees are found around the shores.

Tortola is linked by a bridge to Beef Island, site of the international airport. Road Town, on the south coast of Tortola, is the capital of the British Virgin Islands. It has a colorful market and delightful West Indian-style houses. Other attractions on the island are the Sage Mountain National Park and the J R O'Neal Botanic Gardens. Many of the best beaches are on the northern part of the island, with names such as Smugglers' Cove, Long Bay and Brewer's Bay. Cane Garden Bay is host to a number of bars and nightspots. There is an excellent view of the island and its coast from Sage Mountain, 550m above sea level.
