Vautin
The MS VATUTIN has carried nicko tours passengers on the River Dnieper and the Black Sea for a number of years now. The Ukrainian crew provide excellent hospitality and the traditional meals are much appreciated. The cabins are cosy, the bars inviting, and there is a large lecture and function room. The on-board shop offers a wide range of attractive souvenirs. Enjoy many hours on the spacious Sun Deck or pamper yourself with an extended visit to the hairdressing salon. A Doctor is on board for the whole duration.

Dining
Gourmets enjoy travelling on all the ships of the nicko tours fleet and on all the routes - they fully appreciate the excellent catering. Also in countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Egypt or China a balance between local and international menus is guaranteed.
In the spacious on-board restaurant all meals are served at a single sitting.
Breakfast is a buffet, Lunch is usually served at the table and Dinner is always table service by the ever-friendly staff. This method spares guests the necessity of queuing at a buffet and allows them to enjoy their meals at leisure.
Although there is no formal dress code, it asked that you dress smartly for Dinner.
Tipping
Tips are not included in the tour price. They are a personal way of showing appreciation for good service. The amount is at the passenger's discretion, but our recommendation for ships on the rivers Volga, Dnieper, Danube and on rivers in Germany is € 5-7 per passenger per night on board. As we recognise that European passengers often have difficulties with local scales of gratuity in China and Egypt, we offer a service whereby the recommended gratuities are collected at the start of the cruise by the Tour Leader, who then distributes appropriate amounts to the ship's crew, local guides and coach drivers. Please refer to the cruise information for recommended scales of gratuities. In the case of cruises in Egypt with MS NILE EXCELLENCE the gratuities are included in the tour price.
