Queen Elizabeth

12 Night Cruise sailing from Southampton roundtrip aboard Queen Elizabeth.

Autumn 2010 will further enhance Cunard's illustrious reputation for exquisite ocean travel with the arrival of our newest liner, Queen Elizabeth. Recalling the rich heritage of the first Cunarder to bear the name, her elegance both echos that legendary age and enhances her luxurious modern allure.

The harmony of classic and contemporary strikes an elegant chord throughout this magnificent ship. Images and features from her predecessors, Queen Elizabeth and QE2, sit comfortably alongside her modern charm.

Within Queen Elizabeth's sleek lines, the lavishness of eras past meets the thrilling future of ocean travel. Welcome, then, to the next elegant chapter in Cunard history.

Highlights of this cruise:

Southampton
The United Kingdom's premier passenger ship port, Southampton was home to the great transatlantic liners of yesteryear. The port serves as your gateway to Southern England's magnificent historic sites, national landmarks, charming villages as well as the great metropolis of London. It is an ideal starting or ending point for a memorable voyage.

Barcelona
Nicknamed 'Isla Bonita' or 'The Beautiful Island', La Palma is one of the smaller Canary Islands. It's capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma is a picturesque harbour located on the Eastern part of the island. The island's landscape is a product of the volcanic formation, with numerous beaches of black sand, mountainous terrain and rich plant life. The famous fashion designer Manolo Blahnik was born and raised here.

Valencia
This ancient city is an exhilarating mix of history, art and intellectual activity. Its rich Hispanic culture is visible everywhere in art and architecture reflecting Roman, Visigoth, Moorish, and Aragonese traditions; masterworks by El Greco, Goya, and Velazquez; ancient Greek and Iberian ceramics and prehistoric fossils from archaeological finds.

Malaga
Known as 'Malaga the Beautiful', its privileged location has attracted travellers, merchants, artists and explorers that have left their mark on what is now a cosmopolitan, relaxed and hospitable city. Malaga has an attractive old quarter by its cathedral, two forts, the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro, that offer fine views, gardens and museums, and good shopping on its bustling 'avenidas'. It is the gateway to the beaches of Torremolinos, the exclusive clubs and marina of Marbella, Puerto Banus and the hill village of Mijas.

Cadiz
Explore enchanting ruins inside ancient city walls built some 3,000 years ago. Saunter beneath sweeping palms, soak up astonishing sea views or simply watch the world go by in this busy, buzzing port. Alternatively head to Seville and soak up the atmosphere of the flamenco and where it all began, or visit the 3rd largest cathedral in Europe.
